Shipping Timelines
The e-mail backlog is being tackled and I'm expecting it to be cleared by October 1st.
Now that the website issues have been solved, I'm expecting reply times to speed up significantly..
Future backogs should be minimal to non-existent, but I will have a better idea of timing after I've caught up.
When you order, how you order/processing times, how busy I am, the time of year, and the weather--
all go into how quickly I can get orders shipped.
I do try to get orders out the following week, but it sometimes takes longer.

Unfortunately, this website cannot properly calculate shipping rates.
You'll have to e-mail me if you'd like a shipping quote for a specific order/address.
I can only ship with FedEx Express.

Orders placed by e-mail can be paid by invoice or e-transfer/EMT.
Website shipping rates are based on which area of Canada an order is going to and are the same no matter the order or address.

For orders placed by e-mail, Box Fees are as follows;
Standard Boxes & Supplies = $15.00
Insulated Boxes & Supplies = $30.00 (for winter shipping)
Unpaid invoices are cancelled after 5 days.
Shipping quotes older than 5 days will not be honored.

Winter Shipping
Winter shipping is possible when it can be done safely.
Heat packs and insulated boxes are required for Live Animals Shipping in winter.

In Case of DOA (Dead on Arrival)
Though I've yet to have any serious DOAs, and take great care when packing and shipping animals,
there is always a chance that an animal may not make it.
When it comes to isopods, it can be incredibly difficult to tell exactly how old they are, and older isopods may pass away just from old age/stress during transit, (whether it's you or FedEx transporting them) but these losses are usually minimal when they happen,
& I do add extra isopods to all order to make up for these.
If you receive an order with a number of dead isopods, (2+ for orders with 6-20 isopods, 5+ for orders with 25+ isopods) this is not normal!
Please contact me as soon as possible so I can figure out what went wrong and offer you a replacement/refund.
If there are any DOAs in your order, please take the following steps;
1.) Take a photo of the deceased animal and note (and photograph) if there is any damage to the box/packaging the animal(s) came in.
2.) Contact us immediately (within 24 hours of receiving DOA) with your order info and the photos of the deceased animal.
Only the price of the animals/goods can be refunded-- I cannot get refunds from FedEx.
