These colourful Dart Frogs are a lot of fun to have around-- but the males can get quite loud when trying to impress the ladies!
They are very bold little frogs and mine regularly hop to the front of their terrarium whenever I'm feeding them.
These frogs require high humidity (70%+) and temperatures from 21℃ to 28℃.
Consistently high temperatures (29℃+) can cause a number of issues and even death.
My frogs eat a variety of tiny, live-feeders including;
Springtails, wingless/flightless fruit flies, & cricket hatchlings..
(They also munch on the odd Trichorhina tomentosa they find in their terrarium.)
I mainly use Repashy Calcium Plus for feeder dusting.
Though they don't require a water dish, they will appreciate a small and shallow pond or water feature.
This is especially useful if you'd like them to raise their own young or are having difficulty keeping terrarium humidity up.
Higher humidity and regular misting is very important for the health & comfort of these little frogs.
2022 Froglets (Babies):
Any available froglets are healthy, active, and have started eating fruit flies.
They are a lot more plain-looking than their parents, but they're growing quickly & they'll develop more colour as they grow.
