This Spanish isopod is a looker!
With their overly slow growth-rate & seasonal breeding, it can take some time before they really establish themselves.
While we haven't found them to be aggressive, with the length of time it takes for them to establish, we don't suggest keeping them with other species, (or as cleaners) until you have a well-established colony.
This is a large Porcellio species and males can reach lengths of 2cm!
Though adults seem to prefer clinging to the underside of cork in the dry areas of their enclosure, their young greatly prefer an area with damp moss and substrate.
This species loves calcium, rotting wood & protein.
